The Harmonious Garden

The client’s vision was to create a family garden within a generous landscape which was simple, practical and in perfect harmony with the wider surroundings. Less is more is the perfect summary of this garden, with open tree glades and mown paths through wild meadows, making every corner feel natural and uncomplicated.

Blending such bold architecture into the landscape is no mean feat, however, partially stealing its attention rather than masking it proved to be the better method. The abundance of green with trees and grasses draws your attention away from the house to discover new and subtle destinations around the garden, inviting you further into the landscape.
