Ever since Nicholsons was established, our forestry services, including new woodland creation and aftercare, have been a core part of the business. From tree planting grants and initial site checks through to woodland design, tree planting and aftercare, this is a principal area of our expertise.
New woodland creation needs to be given careful consideration to navigate a multitude of factors, such as position within the landscape, archaeological features and designations. We have designed and planted many hectares of new woodland in recent years, such as shelter belts, extensions to existing woodland and large woodland creation schemes.
