A Trusted Local Presence Supported by Nicholsons Broader Industry Expertise

Having a dedicated base near Exeter allows us to be more accessible to clients across Devon and the wider South West, while continuing to offer the full breadth of expertise available throughout Nicholsons.

Commenting on the opening, Julian Burchby said:

“Joining the Nicholsons Team and helping to establish its new Devon office is hugely exciting for me. Having spent much of the last 25 years working in forestry across the West Country, I have developed a deep understanding of, and strong connection to, the region’s landscapes, heritage and, in particular, its forestry.

The South West offers a unique combination of opportunities, from commercial forestry and significant areas of land suitable for woodland creation to rich and important habitats such as temperate rainforests and ancient woodlands.

I’m looking forward to bringing my experience and knowledge of forestry in the region to Nicholsons, and to working with landowners to unlock the potential of their land through well planned, sustainable forestry and woodland management.

The new office will give Nicholsons a local presence, which I find landowners really value.”
