Cotswolds country landscape balancing conservative design with high quality modern functionality
Location: Cotswolds
This private family home needed full refurbishment in the early 2010s. Our brief was to design a flexible outdoor space to host resident parties of up to 40 people. Nicholsons enjoyed the challenge of bringing quality Cotswold finishes, sympathetic with the heritage nature of the surrounding landscape. Following our multi-disciplinary input towards arboricultural and planning reports, we delivered a pragmatic design that ensured considered budget constraints were met. This project was the first of many with this client. We helped to recruit the gardening team and over a decade later remain in close contact, ensuring that as the landscape develops we collaborate to ensure design delivery. Designed by Liz Nicholson.
