Led by Jess Bradley, our Natural Capital division at Nicholsons offers a bespoke service, focusing on clients’ needs and tailoring natural capital opportunities to these. We support throughout every step, from initial scoping through to implementation and maintenance, providing assurance to clients and investors.
Our in-house GIS team, ecologists and surveyors assess your natural capital baseline. We then compile a matrix of your most-suitable opportunities for your site to suit your priorities. We produce a clear, actionable report summarising the findings of each exercise and setting out key market opportunities. We can create a cost-model providing implementation and management costs and potential incomes based on desired timelines. We draw on the expertise of colleagues within our consultancy and contracting teams, and our forestry and landscaping departments support as required by clients.
We work with specialists in predicting future market trends, scoping out site-specific opportunities and linking investors and landowners. In an ever-growing space, we can help you navigate markets such as Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), carbon, nutrient neutrality and environment units, along with looking at wider links such as flood mitigation and improving water quality.
