“The ecological team at Nicholsons (formerly Lockhart Garratt) have been involved with the Hanwood Park project for some years. The project comprises approximately 950 acres of natural farmland with considerable flora and fauna and natural waterways. The sustainable urban expansion proposes mixed uses including residential homes, schools district centres, employment land and significant areas of Public Open Space and natural woodlands.

Their team have provided expertise on a number of ecological issues including badger protection and relocation, provision of protected GCN habitats as well bat surveys and ground nesting birds etc.

The level of service has always been professional, and the team have delivered under sometimes challenging conditions but always in a friendly way. Presentation of deliverables has been of high quality and professional and usually within the budgets agreed within the cost plan.

Hanwood Park LLP would have no hesitation in recommending the Nicholsons ecological team for work of similar scope and level of complexity.”
